Condition Based Maintenance
Effective management and timely maintenance of equipment and machinery is a critical factor in increasing utilization and reducing equipment down-time. PrecyseTech Smart Agents combine custom-built machine interfaces, on-board sensing capabilities, and long-range, robust wireless communications to track and monitor equipment in large-scale facilities. Leveraging the two-way communication of the PrecyseTech entity awareness wireless network also allows customers to remotely control equipment and tool operating parameters, based on location-aware, user-aware, or state-aware parameters to automate how and by whom equipment can be used.
The iAT platform-based maintenance module uses business rules to automate maintenance operations and enforce remote equipment shut-down to prevent damage when an imminent risk is detected. These operations, based on a combination of operating parameters such as engine error codes, mileage, actual engine hours, temperature, vibration, time, location, and other similar parameters, are tracked by the server. The result is an immediate reduction in the total cost of ownership, reduced down-time, and increased equipment utilization.
